This redecoration project took us to a National Trust Classified Victorian terrace located opposite Como House. The owners were keen to keep the interiors very traditional as they had an extensive antique collection including a 15th century Italian walnut refectory table. The entrance hallway had lovely panelling which we wallpapered with a limited edition Beetle wallpaper in aqua. New herringbone sisal was laid up the stairs and a feature brass rod secured on each step. A large antique gold leaf mirror found at auction finished the space – the matching mirror is located across the road in Como House. The living room and dining rooms included Jim Thompson gold silk curtains, blue walls and a bold fabric “Indian Summer” along with new chandeliers.

Upstairs the main bedroom was painted a soft blue with GP Baker fabric curtains and custom bedhead.
